Serial Receipt Printer Slow
I'm developing a program that has to print a receipt via an epson TMII receipt print (standard receipt printer i think). But the printing in itself is very slow.
How to send raw data to a printer by using Visual Basic.NET There appears to be a 'long' vs. 'integer' conversion required in their: Public Shared Function OpenPrinter(ByVal src As String, ByRef hPrinter As IntPtr, ByVal pd As Long) As Boolean I got the code to work and watched a print job appear and disappear in the print queue, however nothing printed. Download Akg C3000 Service Manual. I was using an old PCL print file on a 'newer' HP deskjet which probably doesn't support PCL any more.
But, if you have the right printer control codes for your printer, it might work. Also, some of the old style 'dumb' printers might work with a 'generic text' driver (If one is even available for XP!).
