Cohen Bette G. Cohen, 92, of Allentown, died on March 5, 2013, at Arden Courts, Allentown.

Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Dora (Pearis) Gordon. Bette was the wife of the late Sidney S. Cohen who passed away in 2010. She taught first and second grades at Jackson School in Allentown from 1964 to 1985.

She was a graduate of Simmons College and received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown State College. Bette was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown, and a lifetime member of Hadassah. She was active in local theatre, and starred as Nellie in South Pacific.
